#84 ~ Rabid Lamb Comics

Yeah, you can see how fun it can be.

Anyone who calls a terrible Poison jam as my jam, then they’re gonna deserve some serious payback. And calling someone’s known favorite song as your jam, is pretty much the ultimate My Jam Game revenge. Ah, it’s so sweet. Adam has called plenty of my favorite songs for himself, so don’t be feeling too bad for him. Though I confess as I think about this that I don’t know that he’s ever called my all time favorite song as his jam…hmmm…maybe an apology is in order… :)

Just wanted to let you know that I read Midnight at the Dragon Cafe in a couple of hours yesterday. That means I couldn’t put the book down because I was enjoying it so much and because, to paraphrase something you said, “the simple prose had a certain fluidity.” There was a straightforwardness and sincerity to it that just sucked me in.

So I’m going to start another one you had on your list: St Lucy’s Home for Girls Raised by Wolves.

Sleep with one eye open, Kelly!!!!!

He tricked you! His jam is really “Arcadian Driftwood”. Ha!

See my previous comment re: the supposed terribleness of Poison.

Trina: That is awesome. I’m so glad you liked it. She’s really great isn’t she? Lucy’s is great as well – although more creative and less “fact based”. I hope you like it. Since you liked Midnight you should definitely hunt down Bates short fiction collection China Dog, it’s just as good as Midnight.

    Paul: Always my friend.

Kevin: Adam’s not smart enough to trick me. I mean…uh, sure he is, you’re probably right. :)

    jamminjabber: no SUPPOSED about it.

I think I’m too much a bibliophile to see the pleasure of this game. Maybe if you made it a game like “My Reads.” You walk up and down the aisle at the bookstore or library and randomly pull a book off the shelf and say “My read” or “Your read.”

Hell, I don’t know. Just ignore me. It’s late, I still have 4 hours of work, I’ve only had 4 hours of sleep, and me not spelling out my numbers is driving Paul crazy.

It is. Four not 4. As in, four lashes for not learning.

I like the idea of the game, but wonder how I’ll ever play it. I generally drive around alone lol.

TK42ONE: I’m pretty picky about numbers under twelve being spelled out as well…is that the rule you speak of Paul? Ironically I have a project that flies directly in the face of said rule. Don’t know how I’ll rationalize that when it comes. I think the beauty of the My Jam game is that it can be played while you are doing other things…just living life, with music in the background and not necessarily the focus. But you have kids and a whole other life I don’t even understand yet, maybe never would. So I can sort of understand how music isn’t as present in your life, although it kind of horrifies me and I’m mentally making another mark in the “cons” list for having children. :)

Paul: I am so into the game that I do tend to play it on my own, if only to keep my skills sharp, but I’m not alone that much these days, if you’re alone a lot it might start to look a little crazy…so maybe not such a good game for you right now… :)
