GET OUT THE VOTE!

I hope everyone votes today – it is so important.  I voted on my way in to work this morning, and I waited in line an hour – which has never happened before.  I’ve never waited more than five minutes in any election, in any state, at any polling location…and while nobody loves to stand in line, I have to say that there was something inspirational about seeing so many people getting out and voting.

Be a part of something huge (I’m especially talking to you youth – we need you!) get out there and vote.

Pretty much the same thing for me this morning. Never a line longer than five minutes and today I waited an hour. There was also a line (for the first time ever) for the electronic voting machine. And I saw about 4 kids there voting that looked like they should still be in middle school (I’m never a good judge of age). So I’m glad the young’ns are voting.

I’m leaving work in 8 minutes to go work. It’s been brutal all day answering people that, “No, I haven’t voted yet, but I will so please back the eff off before I stab you in the neck.” Er, go Obama!

    TK42ONE: It certainly worked out, yeah? :) :) :)

Andy: Thanks for voting – and for stopping by!

Paul: Good man. That’s one of the reasons I vote before work – so I can blow off the pesky questions… :)

shiv: We totally fucking rocked it!!!!!!
