It’s been a while now since I engaged in a full on rant. Stop on by She Has No Head! to see what all of the fuss is about this week.

    Hi Kelly

I’m a long-time follower of She Has No Head! on CSBG, and have only just felt compelled to follow the link to this blog with your reference the the Marvel Diva’s incident.

This was an excellent, if disheartening article, showing blatant sexism and stupidity on Quesada’s part. The troublesome thing is that Marvel should be looking at The Avengers’ success and consider adapting Black Widow (and other Marvel characters from there). After two Hulk movies that performed under expectations and the studios’ hopes, Marvel are now apparently considering a third attempt at a successful Hulk movie, but still, no love for poor old Natasha…especially when they could make a Black Widow movie fairly cheaply (being a spy movie and all), and minimise their risk.

Also, I’ve written up a little post on my blog pointing out your article and this blog ( ), which I’ll now be keeping a regular eye on after browsing for the first time.

Keep up the great work. I’ve always found She Has No Head to be a voice of reason within the comics blogosphere.

Except he didn’t say that , no one at the panel heard anything of the sort. So this “reporter” was clearly Lying. I mean, can you prove he actually said this and it wasn’t slander on the part of this ” reporter”?

@Batmite79: Thanks for the kinds words both here and on your blog. I appreciate it! :)

@Dewynter: I was very careful about how I credited it and never called it a quote. If you choose to believe he didn’t say it that’s your prerogative, but I don’t know how you get to “clearly lying” – Ain’t It Cool News is a well known website and I haven’t seen Marvel/Quesada questioning or refuting the summarized comment anywhere. No, I cannot prove he said that, can you prove he didn’t?
