   i kind of (read: totally) hate watching professional basketball. fortunately we have a two bedroom apartment, so i can be other places while he watches, unfortunately it’s new york, so even a two bedroom apartment is not that big.

   also, our time warner cable is crappy and we have this issue where the nba pass is suddenly not coming through in our living room with the big screen…which sucks for both of us, him because he can’t watch on the awesome big tv and me because sometimes i want to be in bed while basketball is still on. oh, poor us.

   You just described my life during March Madness!

   Professional basketball is much better in person: for one thing you can actually look down court at the set up which is where the real action is (not with the guy who has the ball). For another, there are cheerleaders (OK, maybe not such a big draw for you [g]).
