Ah Adam, welcome back to the strip. He’s always good for some good Rabid Lamb Comic fodder. We all know he’s the REAL star of Rabid Lamb. Tell me any of you have been able to forget about “dancing adam”…I thought not.

Yeah, I was trying to leave him out of the comic for awhile (for several reasons) but we all know he’s the star. It’s good to have him back.
Question…do you guys think I should be coloring in Adam’s beard? I don’t really like it dark…maybe because in life it is light (reddish/ blondish/ brownish)…but also because it just looks sloppy when I color (and by color I mean make it black) it in…
Hol: I’ve definitely woken up to the pig head before.
Paul: HA!

Adam: I’ve never seen this “second chin” of which you speak…
It’s REALLY a definite “no” if you’ve got the turkey head instead of deer.
TK42ONE: Sure, Sure, color. No problem. When I find an extra five to ten hours a week for something like that I’ll be sure to add it to the program.
You notice the second Paul started seeing someone he went back to the black and white basics…significant others take time! It’s hard to choose to color on a computer instead of going to movies, or dinners out, or sleeping, or cuddling, or fing…you get me?
Besides, while color certainly is flashy and has it’s draw I tend to prefer black and white…especially for the kind of work I do…

I like Adam, he asks one of those impossible questions here. Kind of like “If I got run over by a bus and my head was hanging off by a string, would you still love me?” The polite answer is yes, and I like how the heroine doesn’t take that road. Most of us would just be like, “Yeah, uh, I guess…”
I hear you about adding color. I’ve been playing around with the idea of adding color to my webcomic, but, as you can see if you click on my name link, I’ve stuck with good old black-and-white. For me, comics are more about the writing and not so dependent on great visuals, so when I have a good idea for a comic, I don’t want to take 17 years working on it before moving on to the next concept that excites me. I think in general people prefer comics in color, but for me it’s all about capturing that raw energy in the moment, and to me this can only be done in black-and-white.

Madrugada: All my best stuff is stolen from Adam. He’s the true talent (and humor) in the relationship, but he’s too lazy to do a daily strip, so you all get me, poor things. I’m with you on the color comics. People do prefer them in general, but I just can’t make myself care
Paul: Spooning is WAY better than shading.
Mike: Well said.
