Easy win this week for this sublime cover for Green Wake #4 by Riley Rossmo.

Read this book folks, it’s awesome, and looks at least as good inside as out.

    i’d been interested in this book, partly because i’m acquainted with Riley Rossmo, but i haven’t checked it out yet! looks pretty sweet. my deadbeat comic shop probably won’t be able to get copies though. i hate that if you don’t get this shit right when it comes out it’s like lost to the void forever.

    i have the first 3 issues. And as much as i like it, I have to admit that i like the covers more than the inside- that includes the story as well. But, that may be because the covers are pretty fucking awesome. It’s one of 3 comics i buy monthly, so that right there says something about how good it is.

    Journey Into Mystery is next week, per a triple check with Diamond. But yes, that’s a supremely pretty cover.

    @ross: Yeah, it’s worth the buy ross. I believe in Greg Burgas’ previews post last week, he mentioned that it is getting collected in trade. So if you can’t find it in singles, keep a look out for the trade.

    @litbandit: Yeah I would say it being one of 3 monthly comics you buy is pretty high praise indeed! :)

    @Brendan T: Right you are sir! And I’ve updated the post. It’s strange, I saw it yesterday with a 7/6 date and thought I’d missed it, but a doublecheck reveals it IS for next week. I guess we know the front runner for next week then.
