Holiday Cards Galore

Some of these aren’t translating very well to small photos, but I’m posting anyway.  I’m also strangely missing a photo of the most important part – the hand applied wax seal after the card is folded!  Use your imagination I guess :)

Love this photo!

This one is great too.  Makes me think I’m working in a sweat shop…but it’s not that bad, really.

So, these were the cards for work, right? And what’s up with the postage? 75 cents? Are they extra large cards? The art looks very nice and very detailed (yet very simple).

TK42ONE: yes, these were the much discussed work cards. and by work, i mean both for work and oh so much work! but worth it in the end. the 75 cent stamp is because the card is square (more postage required, i guess because they have to be handstamped at the post office, rather than run through a machine) also they were slightly on the heavy side with the wax seal, so when we checked the postage required online it said “75 cents” much to our dismay. the 75 cent stamp you may not have been able to tell from these pictures was something we custom designed as well, to go with the part card (the design element on the right side of the card) and it’s also an element we’ve been using in our PR materials. pretty cool stuff.

K: thanks! they really turned out amazing. i did not do the illustration, one of our architects/designers (Jason) did it. he did an incredible job. perspective is one of my greatest enemies, so this would have been a nightmare for me.
