A little post-Valentine’s day naughty doppelganger treat for everyone.
This comic is actually born of a dream Adam has had in which I’m there…twice. Me and my doppelganger. Of course his dream is less pleasant than my comic, as in his dream I believe the real Kelly gets pissed at him for holding hands with the doppelganger Kelly, which depending on my mood, is pretty accurate. I think there was even a second doppelganger dream later as well. Adam care to comment? Anyway, it’s been rolling around in my brain almost since I started doing this strip, so it was high time the doppelgangers appeared…heels and all.
Since I’m off today I’m looking at a 4 day weekend…which could pretty much not look MORE awesome, especially now that my computer nightmares are worked out and I got good news from that second agency. I hope you all get Monday off like me and make the most of it, I know I plan to. Did anyone do anything for the dreaded V-Day? Was it a bust or a grand success? Did you eat your weight in chocolate? Let’s hear it…

Ohh, there’s so many comments I’d like to make, but I’m afraid of Adam’s vengeance. Seriously.
So I’ll stick to answering your question, no, we did nothing for Valentine’s Day. The in-laws arrived last night (her parents) so the “mood” wasn’t right. And even if it was, the damn headboard makes too much noise.

The real question is, would it make you gay if you and your doppelganger got it on, which I’m sure is how Adam’s dream REALLY went.
And my girl has totally gotten jealous over herself. That bit gave me a good chuckle.

For Valentine’s Day, I made my husband a meatloaf for dinner–a meatloaf in the shape of a heart. Then we watched Lost and promptly went to sleep. How’s that for romantic?

Paul: Thanks. I draw women pretty well actually. Men, eh, not so much. I’ve found that in general male cartoonists are usually more afraid of the female form…it’s always funny to me…we’re so easy…its’ just all curves and bumps…

I know this is your favorite question…you love it. As for Adam’s dream, I’m pretty sure it didn’t get as far as he would have liked because real Kelly was yelling at him for not knowing the difference between real and doppelganger (unfair I know, but accurate). Shiv jealous over herself? I don’t believe it.
Trina: Man, I can’t even make meatloaf – let alone heartshaped ones! Romance is dead. Everyone knows it, we just have trouble accepting it.
Scott: Nope, another agency requested a full from me this week, and I haven’t heard back yet from the agency that wanted the first five chapters (it’s been about 2 and a half weeks now I guess). I wrote you a big email about this Tuesday night…did you not get it?
