#36 Comic of the Day

This is no joke people.  This is deadly serious stuff.  “Cathouse: The Musical”, and when I say ‘Cathouse The Musical’ I don’t mean that talented broadway stars will be doing an adaptation of a ridiculous show about prostitutes, I mean that talentless prostitutes have decided that they will do their own musical about…themselves.

Suffice to say I will have to watch this show and report back.  It is my duty.  I don’t expect I’ll make it through the whole show though, as the previews I saw were truly horrifying.  I looked for a clip on YouTube, but I don’t see one yet.  I’ll keep an eye out and if one appears I’ll update you immediately…it’s just that good.

Let me also say that those this post and cartoon seem kind of negative, I have nothing against prostitutes (whores!) in fact I think places where prostitution is legal (such as Amsterdam) are much safer for the women particularly in that their lives are more regulated and healthier overall.  If the issue was up when I went to vote, with the information I currently have, I would probably vote to legalize it.  What I do have a problem with is prositutes that think they are really super talented, at something other than what they do for a living :)  Joke people…these are the jokes.

That fact that Cathouse the Musical exists shocks me into paralysis. *paralyzed*

I think most men would vote to legalize it, but getting it voted as “wife approved” will be next to impossible.

Can you enlighten those of us without HBO, do the ladies on Cathouse get their jobs taped? Do they have a cross-over episode where you watch the drama on HBO and the porn on Playboy?

    Last minute addition.

For those interested in a more family oriented show, there’s always this:

I can’t imagine this is the same channel that brings us quality programming like Deadwood.

TK42ONE: Cathouse is like any other lame reality show, where it shows how a group of people live, different episodes often focus on different “characters” that currently live at the Bunny Ranch, as the roster tends to change.

Sometimes it focuses on whoever the current “girlfriend” is of the dude who owns the place (usually some sad looking porn star or stripper)…but that is always “an open relationship” which is always fun…or they try really really hard to make that APPEAR fun for everyone.

The show generally also focuses on a few “johns” and they do show the stuff that goes on behind closed doors with the johns and whores (apparently the johns sign a release form of some kind and theoretically get a discount or a free ride or whatever for agreeing to be put on cable television in all their “non-glory” and at that point i guess you would classify it as soft core, because they show quite a bit, but no real penetration is visible. Some episodes are more aggressive than others in this way.

They also have a lot of lame features, where they show the girls “throwing a pool party” or a “tea party” or a “sex toys party” those parts are always extra annoying and extra fake.

And yes, I have seen far too many epsiodes of this show.

“And yes, I have seen far too many epsiodes of this show.”

    It’s my fault.

I do not have HBO, but man does this sound interesting. Not that whores are interesting, but them doing a song and dance might be okay. Better than cats singing and dancing.

    No, wait.

Feck that. I’d rather watch cats whoring it up. What is wrong with television these days?!?!?
