Ugh. Sometimes I hate drawing…last night was one of those nights. I have a sneaking suspicion it will be this way all week. Sigh. Poor me. Anyway, the mystery continues tomorrow…hopefully with better art 😉

Your drawings are good today. Some days drawing is a real slog, no doubt about it. But I look at it as practice — all drawing, no matter how different it turns out on paper than what I’d envisioned, is good practice. Keep up the good work!

And glad you liked Tragic Penis-Man…I had all these stories I wanted to do for him…but they kept seeming weirder and grosser than I wanted to be…I also didn’t necessarily think my audience was ‘with’ me…but I’m glad to hear you liked him…I’ll definitely allow him to re-appear…if only for you!
spinachflame: thanks for the encouragement. Doing the daily blog comics was supposed to be a way to force myself into committing to a project and putting it out there (whether I was happy with the final product or not – usually not). Sometimes I cringe and want to pull things down when I see them later…but I”m with you, it’s all an exercise…all practice…and also, in my case, I have to understand that while I am capable of “better” work, a daily comic is what it is, if only because of the time restraints. As always the “joke” or “bit” is more important to me than the art…so if that at least works then I’m partially happy.

The real questions is…how did you get TheWebComicList.com to check your site regularly for updates! They no longer look at mine. Waaaah waaaah, says the boy being featured on the front page again (which does nothing for me).
I want something to drink now. I hope it doesn’t explode!

Paul: I did have to email them. My status was “not approved” for a few weeks, meaning they weren’t checking me for updates…so I bitched/questioned it and they pretty quickly got back to me and appear to be checking since my number changes every day…I have gotten about zilch in the area of hits from it though. After an initial bump of a few dozen hits the first day or two, I think I get one hit a day from them…and that’s probably just them checking to see if I updated
Yeah, I have to write more strips about ‘Cars’…you always get featured when you tag your stuff cars. Sadly, I live in NYC…so my interaction with cars is mimimal
