Another brutal day for poor Pariahs. Between podcasting this morning, working on an overdue article, and making an exhausting TGWWBK post office run (on less than 5 hours sleep) and the words that came out were not so great.
Where was I for Day 10 last year you ask? Ouch. A cool 53,001.

Again, I did a fair bit of writing today, but very little of it for Nano. It’s bumming me out to be failing so hard on these deadlines, but I honestly worked all day either for my job or on The Girl Who Would Be King stuff – preparing things to be mailed and what have you. Speaking of TGWWBK – you’ve only got about 24 more hours left for the 99 cent sale, so get it while it’s uber cheap instead of just regular cheap! 😉
Okay, so here’s the sad little count. I really have to carve out some serious time for this tomorrow.

Oh book. Stop being so troublesome. Election plus having to write a review unexpectedly, plus needed to get more sleep than last night equals no words tonight. Will try to make it up tomorrow, definitely running behind this year – gotta focus!

Gah. I forgot how tough this book is. I remembered (too late!) the difficult world building choices, and that in my first 25k I jumped around a lot – something I swore I would never do again after how tough THE GIRL WHO WOULD BE KING was to edit.

Yikes. Bad day for writing. Had to spend a good chunk of the day with Kickstarter spreadsheets, and then of course needed a column for She Has No Head!, it equaled most of my time being eaten up by non-Nano things and some Nano research. So, yeah, all that to say, very low word count, again. Oh, I did rename the project, which is good, but I’m keeping that under wraps for now.
