Jackson Publick did a fantastic (and funny ‘natch) update recently on all things Venture.
Oh, and in case you missed my squee-ing post about the Venture Bros bobbleheads and figures. Here is is again.
Adam’s and my financial situation needs to start looking up, because we are going to NEED these. ALL OF THEM.
Bif Bang Pow! is coming out with a line of Venture Bros. Action Figures AND at least Three Venture Bros BOBBLEHEADS.
There’s not a ton of information out there yet, but it sounds like the Bobbleheads are scheduled to debut this Spring 2010, and the Action Figures will arrive in the summer of 2010. Definitely click here to see Bif Bang Pow!’s 2010 Toy Show Action Figures Album…which includes great images of The Monarch, Dean Venture, Brock, Dr. Venture, Number 21, and Number 24.

I don’t know how I missed this…but if you love Adult Swim and want to watch and vote on some great matchups, head on over now. There are currently four matchups (although voting has already closed on the first one), and after four winners have been picked the four will go to the semi-finals. One winner will emerge triumphant and that pilot will air on Adult Swim March 22, 2010.
Interestingly enough, Adult Swim has matched up more traditional animations (though these animations are anything but typical) against more live action, or live action mixes.
As this is ADULT Swim, you should note that these are not cartoons for kids. The clips are not child friendly, and are geared towards adult themes.

According to Jackson Publick’s livejournal, THE VENTURE BROTHERS SEASON 4 will premiere on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim on Sunday, October 18th at Midnight…which I guess technically is October 19th, but whatever…don’t let it confuse you and miss out.
All I have to say is….GO TEEEEEAM VENTURE!

But no, I can’t tell you when, because though Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim has released a preview trailer for Season 4 of The Venture Brothers, there is still no official premiere date. Check out the trailer though – it’s awesome.
If you don’t know about The Venture Brothers then this trailer will only confuse the hell out of you…well, even if you know The Venture Brothers it might confuse the hell out of you, but you’ll be used to it, because you’re used to the random awesome magic of…The Venture Brothers. Nice circle logic I did there, huh? If you watch until the end of the trailer you’ll automatically go into the next video which is The Venture Brothers creators talking at the San Diego Comic-Con Panel…and it’s pretty funny in its own right.
On thing to note, that panel is looking very man heavy…it sure looks like you guys could use some strong female writers…and um, just so you know…yes, I’m available.
